There finis wax seems also to be an awesome carnuaba wax if you like that. The double speed I think has the longest longevity of their waxes :)
Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
Well I gave my test car it`s 1st bath after coating. Everything above the pin stripe is new (test area) and below is all CSL/Exo from last spring. I will incluse a little bit of a video I did that shows foaming the hood then rinsing it and the results were quite surprising to me.

And a link to a video drying it.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
Gave me the new ride a proper rinseless wash, not a WW wipedown like I did the other day. Ech2O as a drying aid. Also put a coat of wax on- blue velvet pro. Seemed to make sense for a blue car.

Glen, your HR-V looks beyond awesome!
Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
I washed my wife`s Escape this afternoon. Today is the last time I`m foaming it as a presoak. Due to its coating (CQuartz) it just won`t hold the foam. I used Reset with about an ounce of BLACKFIRE Foam Booster, an Incredipole, and sprayed the tires with BLACKFIRE Tire Gel using Optimum`s pneumatic sprayer.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
Two bucket wash with Reset, Full Effect on wheels followed by Hydro2 Light, OPC for tires, Ech2o/ Reload mix as drying aid, WETS on tires and interior with Cockpit Premium. Switched all chrome emblems to Carbon Flash to match rest of trim and side skirts.

If you are useing a foam gun look up McKees 37 xtreme foam as it was made for that. And are you useing a PW and foamcannon I would test Gyeon Foam as a prewash foam. Car soaps are not made for clinging to the paint but the opposite. Since it`s coated you get a a better clinging ability with this but not perfect. But about a 5 minutes in outside environment with low wind. The makes alot of difference for me with the foamcannon as the loose it`s bubbles faster you more windy it is. And with a dedicated prewash foam you get a better cleaning when you only letting it dwell and PW clean rinsing it off. When prewash I start from the bottom and work my way up and take advantage of the foam chemicals all the up. It`s not much dirt left when I do this and in the summertime it`s the only needed and blow dry the water of or just drive it dry. If it`s not to dirty.
Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
Clay toweled my Camaro today, hoping to polish it tomorrow and coat it next week.
Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
Looked at my filthy Nissan. That is as far as it got.
The next rain will clean my vehicle.
Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
McKee’s Hydro Blue’d the neighbors car, also cleaned tidied up the interior, but these wheels though.... They turned out great. The tires where super dry, they are shown with two coats of Opti-Bond. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...86e286a511.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...c284e64291.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a1b94d16ee.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d8c5505da0.jpg

What did you do detailing wise today?
Here’s my car, background info: In earlier December, I got in a fender bender, my fault, got the front bumper, passenger fender, headlight, and other under the skin parts replaced. Bumper and fender were replaced and painted, hood and passenger top half of door were blended. The usual body shop buffer trails are everywhere, but it happens and Sewell has to do their job 100% and did quite a good job with the actual repair and painting. They aren’t in the detailing business and that’s okay.
Two different exposures, should look great when all panels are cut and finished.
P.S.- There’s no makeup in these shots. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...7602225df4.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...17e48e8690.jpg

Do a bit of polishing today. Essence on Uro-fiber. 4 passes on speed 4. Pretty grey and overcast out today, would be nice to see the car in the sun to get an idea of gloss.

Certainly a but of improvement, but it is a brand new car so no miracle before and after shot. Debating on whether to do another polishing step with M205 or to go straight to jeweling with the rotary, black/gold pads and WG finishing glaze. Will coat when done.
