What did you do detailing wise today?

Got it - seems legit for sure. Only used it real quick on the floor of the garage...

A few things I`d like to point out:

    1. Don`t by this at Home Depot for $160. Worx sells these as "reman" units for like $70 on eBay (that`s the complete kit - you see - shipping included). Although it was sold as refurbished - everything came in the original box & looked brand new.

    2. This unit comes with a multi angle tip - black circular thing you see below not attached. Basically - you can rotate it for various spray patterns. The beauty of this device is the end uses standard pressure washer quick disconnects. So, I had a "turbo" or dirt buster wand (attached) that adds more pressure. This isn`t included - Worx sells one for about $20.

    3. The beauty of this thing is it uses standard plastic hose quick connectors. So, you can you can use multiple water sources: a bucket via the supplied white hose, a bottle via the supplied "bottle adapter" (in pic green/yellow connector), or just a regular garden hose.

    4. This thing comes with a soap dispenser / foam cannon. I`m sure it doesn`t rival the MTM. But on the other hand, it does spray soap. The bottle isn`t very big - but it`s something

Got my butt up early as tired as I am, and did a quick normal wash on the Xterra. Finished with Extender spray wax as the drying aid. Figured it`s going to be the last wash for awhile. Calling for 50 Saturday, but with rain all day. Then next week the temps drop well below freezing.

almost forgot how much fun it is to detail a black vehicle. washed, clayed, one step with car pro essence, and a lsp with stay fresh titanium (ceramic infused wax) on a friend`s 2015 kia optima.

I just couldn`t let go....... I had to coat my D.D.

Used Polish Angel Mater Final Polish II ,this stuff is a dream to work with!! Even when I got carried away & thought I worked it too long, it was a breeze to wipe off! Now I see why Brandt loves the P.A. line so much.
(I`ve used the High Gloss & Viking Spirits before and enjoy them.)

Anyway, White polishing pad on the Flex and for the smaller areas, GG 6 with the 3 inch HD backing plate.

Coating - I was going through my mounds of detailing products and found 2 bottles of Detailers Pro. It must if got lost in the ridiculous amount if products I`ve bought. I don`t even know why I keep buying stuff.

So I used it, also very nice stuff to work with, just like Pinnacle Black Label.

I don`t know if you can tell in the picture, it looks like glass and this is after 2 days of driving and in the shade. From my phone which actually has a pretty nice camera.

After decontaminating with CarPro Iron X, washing with GTechniq W2 and then using CarPro eraser, applied the new CarPro ‘Gliss’ with great results. Easy to use and apply, looking forward to seeing how it holds up

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

Gave the Xterra it`s Christmas present. Good wash this afternoon followed with a application of Hydro Blue. Checked tire pressures. Kind of pointless. Calling for 4 to 6 inches with 25 mph wind. Timing is 7PM till 9AM tomorrow. Looks like we are getting a white Christmas. Last good detail for awhile...
