    Winter protection for the Jeep!

It really needs a 2 step polish, but with a couple different resprays, not sure if perfection is possible. So, a clay, Meguiars #7, and Poorboys Sealant it was!

Ran out of my old #7 glaze so I had to buy a new bottle. Definitely not the old #7 me and my dad used to use.

Playing with my waxes. 1 more coat each of :

Dodo SN , Really like the user experience, so easy I tend to over apply tho. Def. tub worthy.
Hope it`s as durable as Haze.

P21S 100%, acts like a hard wax, tough to get enough on ap. pad.
So easy after, love how bright & slick.

I look back and can’t believe how much I have developed. This is my second year in business. Now the shelf isn’t sitting in my room where I have to look at it, I made it fit in the closet ad I’m super happy with it

Yeah it’s still not “shiny” just removed that grey oxidation and water spots. The decals were a bit grey so I used 205 on them and it brought them back. I didn’t make those reflective just got rid of hazy oxidation.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

Put optimum gloss Coat on the gf’s new Jetta this weekend. I polished with had speed in June when she first got it. Ran it through a touchless, since I don’t have a hose. I clayed it a couple months ago, ironx’ed it last weekend. So after the touchless did a quick nanoskin and ONR wash.

Polished the front nose with Essence and a uro fiber pad. The sun was heating the paint which made working difficult(wasn’t hot out but the sun was bright), and this pad/polish combo didn’t make a dent in the paint- some slight swirls but nothing major, and Essence was no match for this hard VW paint. So, I skipped the polishing of the rest of the paint and just did a standard gloss Coat application for the rest of the car. Car looks great! GC added gloss, color saturation and the paint looks wet.

Installed an xpel headlight film kit on my brothers new headlights for his 99 Tahoe. Topped the film with Gyeon trim.

Coated his new taillights as well with Gyeon Trim.

she (car club member) won this bag last christmas at our club party in a charity raffle I held

she cherishes it...I topped off her Spray and Wipe bottlw when she wasn`t around and took her bag and moved it to see how long it`d take her to notice

she sits down and I kid you not, ten seconds or less later she tells her husband "I`m gonna have to box someone, the goodie bag is GONE!"

    that`s detail related

It’s worn but boy is it clean. You all would be surprised if you would have seen it before. I didn’t go in without gloves on it was so bad. I generally will vacuum without gloves but not this time and I used meguiars Detailer’s apc almost 1:1 ratio and the nicotine was just melting off everything
