Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

Finally ready to finish our last car; 22ple HPC removed, ready for new coating

Used Flex 3401 with Scholl S20 on honey spider pad, followed by Scholl S40 on crimson LC Hydrotech. Gotta say, the Scholl is nice stuff, worked better and quicker for me than Menz 2400 & 3800 ever did.

Could never really tell if 3800 was really making a difference or if it was all in my head. The S40, at least on this black, really did a nice job finishing. Took a bit of time/advice to get the Scholl differences to work out but in the end, very nice stuff.

Will continue to use; S20 is gonna be a better one-step than Menz 2400 was for me. Maybe it`s the spider pads, but it really cuts nice and finishes very, very well.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

Client of mine had to bring back his Toyota 4runner after the shop that did his engine rebuild left it outside for a week and under a tree it was covered in tree sap and leaves etc so they ran it through an automatic car wash a few times. All my previous polishing work was pretty much negated on it. Decided on HDspeed to try to bring back some of the color and remove some oxidation. Paint is really thin around 2.5mils Or less on most panels.

    Nice work RaydiantDetail!
My wife washed her car yesterday (yes!), and then she tells me the wheel well has rust. But, when I look at it, it`s not rust it`s road oil (gasp!). So, I have my work cut out for me tomorrow. Washed my truck today, then had honey-dos...
