Ouch, sorry Budget. I feel your pain though, I`m on my second windshield in 8 months. Just got another chip that immediately splintered halfway across the damn thing. I give up as well.

You, Brandt, and others have me completely sold on the CSL and / or CSL+Exo stuff. might be getting my wife a new vehicle relatively soon; I`m just gonna take it to Brandt I think and say "I`m not worthy" and flip him the keys.

    D`oh! That sucks.

I keep a roll of scotch tape in my glovebox for windshield rock chips: by sticking a piece of tape over the chip ASAP you`ll prevent air from getting in and making the crack worse. Just had a nasty chip fixed on my wife`s car - got nailed by a rock while on vacation - using tape prevented the crack from growing and was fixed 2 weeks later.

Thanks! I`ll try that. This last one I had no time. It was past the "dollar bill" test within 100 yards down the road. It had already spread halfway across by the time I got to work, which was only another mile. Crazy.

Thanks. I`m gonna let this one be for awhile; it`s low on the windshield near the wipers, and will still pass inspection. Doesn`t look all that great, but I don`t want to keep hitting up my insurance a bunch.

Does this count for detailing lol
So it`s gonna be a long afternoon into evening but it`s worth it as it`ll only have cost me $225 to do front struts, outer tie rods, sway bay links, rear shocks and springs

Piece of cake. Don`t forget the alignment.
