C7 I did 6 months back with CSL. Washed with reset and mckees iron remover. Topped with C2v3. Hit the wheels with OPT spray wax and tires with HD dress. I have some videos but tapatalk wont let me upload them from my phone anymore.

Going to do this next week. Putting some TREMOR (Force Two) style stripes on a 2016 F150. Wish me luck, I haven`t put larger stripes on a vehicle in years. Last time I did it was on a 70 Mach 1, about 20 years ago. I know this won`t be to many peoples tastes, it is definitely something different for me to do. I haven`t done anything but be a de-badger for years.

Much better, so I put Gyeon on all trim, takes a while

Now the learnin` part : I wanted to start bringing my DD up to standards, so I tried a 1 step.
I was going to use a Glaze w/sealant but at the last moment I picked BF TP&S with white pads.
On a DD and didn`t check my work till I was 1/2 done !
I should have switched to the glaze but kept going.
The 1 step w/white pads did nothing for the swirls except made them stand out proud !
I wanted to try Vic`s Red Wax, it did fill some and deepened the color.
First time polishing this truck and needed to see how long it would take. (getting faster , not as tired)

    Products:

    This is an update :
I let the truck sit for 24hrs then took it out in the sun. The BF polymers and Vic`s red wax must have settled into place.
Because I had to really look hard to find any swirls...So it`s a DD and I can live with it `till I`m ready to correct it . Got lucky

The Gyeon Preserve I put on thick, and it did sling, 3` on each side on front doors. Still abit wet too.

    It came out OK

    Not too shabby

How easily did it spread on the tires, and what type of applicator did you use?

So I may or may not have been neglecting the beater truck. The other vehicles have been getting some love, but I think its been since last September it got a proper scrubbing.

So, I know it`s not in typical Autopia fashion, but it had to be cleaned with the assistance of some degreaser. No befores, but you can only imagine what it looked like sitting in the backyard for 6 months...

Still need to level out the clearcoat some more, but now I can park it infront of the house without shame...

What did you do detailing wise today?

Just got the loan for this. Going to pick it up this weekend. Found out it was paint corrected and coated. Front bumper needs a reprint but that`s about it.

It`s a 92 LX 5.0 with a On3 Performance turbo kit. Has some suspension work done.

Ron don`t tell my dad. He doesn`t know yet.
