Dropped the first layer of 22ple HPC on godson`s CR-Z. This coating is just so easy to use...

About an hour and a half. Six to eight at a time then wipe off excess. I used a precision marker and started trying to do just the stitching and gave up. Just don`t do too big a section at a time and what gets on the leather wipes right off. Used a Sharpie fabric marker.

House goals. Maybe a little shorter so it would be easier to cool off.

    Here`s a 50/50
    Here`s some before
    And after
No I didn`t do the whole thing I was only to do insurance de but I always wash so it`s easier to do windows. And then afterwards I decided to do the hood with 3d speed and b&s mf pads, then a coat of white diamond with 2 coats of fk1000p and a coat of fk pink paste wax.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

I keep forgetting to post what I`m up to. I`ve been detailing a lot recently also I got the business name registered and got a license.

A while back, headlight correction plus wash and wax

I was taking a day off, someone just bought a used Denali. They wanted to take it down to LA the next day. I usually don`t like short notice but I have a reputation for being a great detailer on NextDoor in my area so I went ahead and did it anyway. A few hours later I made $200.

Another interesting one. A guy with a new Ford Fusion had me detail it it was 120 out so good thing I have ONR for Garage washes. He was enlightened about ONR.

Here`s something interesting. I found this in the car

So I asked him if the dealership is going to do that under warranty, he said he just bought it. A few seconds later I explain how it`s done and he wants me to install it. Next detail I`ll bring the heat gun (still not sure how much to charge)
I`m learning how to give more services. That was pretty easy but there is so much you can do as a detailer, and many customers don`t know you can do it, so that is money lost.

Anyway two of my neighbors had me wash their BMWs. One is the guy with the Subaru. He traded it in for a new BMW X1.

Brand new? Yup. Compete with DISO.

Oh and he never wants more than a wash. Oh well.
