Made a short video showing how nice & easy Jescar Micro Finishing Polish wipes off vs. Menzerna SF-3500:

Not the best quality, but hopefully it shows how easy Jescar wipes off vs the same amount of SF-3500 on the adjacent area of the same panel. Jescar is my new favorite finishing polish.

Well spent 8 out of my 11 hours at work today polishing my Tundra (results were mixed technique still needs refining but it looks perfect from 5 feet away). Good lord is that truck huge. Got home and wiped it down with Car-pro eraser then applied Geteching CSL. It will stay home in the garage tomorrow and I will drive the Camaro to work. When I get home tomorrow I will dust it off and apply Geteching EXO V2. Finally made time to try CSL EXO combo. There is no way I would got it all done at home, befits to being your own boss you can spend time on your "work truck" during work hours.

Hey! I`m not the only one using CSL + EXO V2 for the first time this week! What did you think about applying CSL? Pretty simple right? Just be careful with EXO - I`m still irritated about scratching my paint with EXO crystals. Heed The Drivers advice and carefully blow out the dropper head before you start applying it.

It was my first time using any coating, and yes I found CSL to be a breeze to use. I used the small Gyeon block and Gyeon suede cloths to apply it and I used the larger CarPro suede cloths for leveling. Also half way through I changed out to a new applicator and leveling suede cloth just to be safe (felt like applicator was getting a little grabby like maybe some the product had started to gum up on the applicator). Also I was amazed that I seemed to only use 15-20ml of product, bottle near half full still. I hope I used it properly and put it on thick enough. Also I found easiest way to remove any high spots I found was a quick swipe over the area with applicator adding fresh product and then to level with the other suede cloth. I can not believe how slick the paint felt when I was done. I thought that it was a ton off work to prep to be able to do a coating (my truck was not in need of a polish for appearances sake its daily driver and had very minimal defects so polishing the car was more to just have a sterile surface) when I have had such great luck with sealants and they seem to get the job done just fine. But now that I have felt the slickness a coating brings and I can only imagine after EXO is applied over it how slick and how easy it should be to keep clean. If I can get a year worth of easy cleanings out it then well the work was worth it.

I shall be very careful with exo I dont need to mess thinks up at this point.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

Well I had no problems with CSL yesterday and felt like a hero. Well to today I got to top that with EXO V2 and I fell like a zero. Dont know if its just to hot and humid right now in my garage 87 degree`s and Humid? (was the same yesterday and CSL went on like a dream) or if exo is just a lot tougher to use but I did tail gate and felt like it was leaving some high spots and I didnt let it sit long than the time it took me to place the applicator down and grab the buffing towel. but the lighting on the tailgate was poor so I went on to doing the rear quart panel and after I finished that I pulled it out side to get a better look n the sunshine and I was like

High spots and streaks every where not real noticeable but I can see them. Well I gave up on trying EXO today and went and grabbed my C2V3 to top CSL with. I can live with that for now. What a change from day to day with my coatings confidence.

I applied two coats of EXOv3 30 minutes after CSL a couple weeks ago. Let it sit for a while in Florida. And it was coming off fine. It was in the 80`s that day. I have another car to do this weekend. I`ll post what happens then.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

this evening I will begin what I consider the last cut on my car (since I`ll be topping it with CSL, EXOv3 and EXOv2 I figure by the time all that wears off I`ll own another Mopar with some whiskers)

luckily I already did almost half of my car 4months ago so I just have the bumpers, roof, hood and passenger side to do- should only take me a week, lol

slow and steady when she lives in the garage, right?
