What did you do detailing wise today?

Washed my car and helped the GF with hers as well. Both got hit with PB Bug Squash and then foamed with Maxisuds II. Used Duragloss Auqawax as a drying aid on both. My car got topped with PA high gloss. Her car has CSL on it.

Didn`t get any picks of hers. Also restocking and mixing products. Need to get some gallons and make this easy.

    Don`t be so sure.

Couldn`t afford $300 wax myself; nor would I ever pay that much for wax if I could.

Nice work on the MS, Slick!

Man that would be awesome. This is a Swissvax Onyx sampler. It`s $30. The full size Onyx is $100. They have $300 plus waxes. I want to try Shield which has a teflon effect and supposedly really durable. It`s $200. Onyx is really easy to apply and remove and so far the only wax I`ve tried that doesn`t have that petroleum smell.

Spent the day polishing off Gloss Coat with Polish Angel Primer to prep it for Cosmic V2. I wasn`t a fan of the polish as I couldn`t seem to get it to not dust on me no matter what. I`ve never had this issue before with other polishes, so I`m not not sure what the deal was. But after all all of that and applying Cosmic (which was very easy), the flake really started to pop more than any other LSP I`ve tried.

I think Cosmic V2 is a great coating for those who want a similar look, but I`d probably use a different polish if I did it over even though it`s not recommended.

I was driving through Knoxville and saw a billboard advertising a $10 per month wash it yourself as often as you want. I assume this is a DIY place and looking for some steady income. This may be want some people could want if they live in a water restricted place like apartments, etc. I have not been to a DIY in years so do not know how many quarters it takes. I drove by one and claimed 50 cents but I am sure there is some time limit.

Finally a cool day! Been way too hot. I was easily able to finish the truck and interior.

So nice!!! Love the Rupes 21 plus megs flat maroon pads. 105 dusts a lot. Ordered the small gyeon compound and polish. If they are better, I will get the big ones.

Oh, and next he`s having me to a full detail on his Charger.

    A 2 day weekend Wahoo !!!
Started first thing on my Malibu, rear bumper some swirls
    light scratches.

    Tried some of Rupes` system

I`d call them a Gloss polish kit. Yellow is a very nice med. step, liked it alot.

Had to go with BF compound/w CP MF pads for the cut. Nice & thick micro, liked em.

Most excited about trying this 12mm Mini rigged
    with 1" & 2" plates

Runnin` her on higher settings because it`s feels
like it`s underpowered. Worked fantastic !

    Sealed with

WG is a pleasure, my new #1.
14hrs later topped with BFMS one coat and in the morning I may put one coat of Pinnacle Liquid ?

I have experimented also with my mini and excellent polisher. I have used it to remove minor scrapes and marks just a nice handling polisher.

What did you apply on the seat belt seat insert to darken the plastic again if you used something?

1 quick coat of Pinnacle liquid Souveran, with this

What a nice wax, smooth ap. & removal. Not oily
    or greasy. (and no stank
This ap. pad is very precise. Worked well with the
ribbon tip bottle & liquid wax. I think you have to take the wax out of a tub and rub on otherwise.
