How you gonna get the overspray off of that black, Ron?

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

So, back at the end of March, I was in an accident with my Fiesta:

On the 20th, I finally got her back , with the orders not to wash her for a week and no wax for 30 days. Since today was a nice day and it`s been over a week, not to mention she had a ton of clear over spray that needed clayed off, I decided to do what I`m going to call a 90% detail with no LSP.

Started off with the wheels and tires, using Adam`s wheel cleaner and Tire and Rubber cleaner. I think the results speak for themselves

Then I gave the whole car a bath with N-914 and after that gave it a good claying with my synthetic clay mitt. It didn`t get the paint 100% smooth, but I figure I`m going to have to clay again and polish before I do the PBL Paint coating in about three weeks.

After that, I went over all the trim with Adam`s VRT. After all that I went ahead a put PBL wheel coating on and dressed the tires with Adam`s Tire Shine. Finally I cleaned all the windows and applied PBL glass coating, since we`re coming up on thunderstorm season here in PA, it`ll be nice to not have to run the wipers as much in those pesky microbursts. Well, that and I`ve been dying to try out some new products and do some detailing.

I`m pretty happy with the final results even without a LSP.
