After an extended period of not being able to do much, I finally had a chance to wash the truck...
Today`s efforts
- Washed the truck with new Merino wool wash mitt (won a couple weeks ago) with Poorboys Super Slick and Suds (from a recent trade). I still want to use several more times before doing the review. I can say it slides effortlessly on the paint.
- Sheeted water off then dried with a waffle weave microfiber. The Blackfire Black Fire Ice is holding up extremely well.
- Waxed using Pinnacle XMT 360 Spray wax and a Autogeek Super Plush (lavender ones) Microfiber towels (from a trade). The combo worked well.
- Wiped down jambs with Adam`s Detail Spray
- Cleaned glass with Sprayway Glass Cleaner and a edgeless microfiber / waffle weave combo,
2 Ford 12 passenger vans, a black Lexus ES350, and a black Escallade. All maintenance details for the same client.
There is no way I could afford to take that title away from you :lmfao That was CG Butter Wet Wax btw.
This was today`s quicky. Done for free for my little brother. He tried to pay even when I told him I didn`t want anything. I gave him hell when we were younger so I always feel like I owe him. He desperately needs a full detail but that is a little more than I am willing to give. There is some CC failure too. 1500 grit, 2500 grit, HD Uno on LC thin wool, HD Polish on LC White topped with CG Top Coat Wax & Sealant.

just recently had to remove a dead tree from my front yard and i got my truck dirty in the process of dropping off the wood at my friends ranch. i`d say this is the muddiest it has ever been. and i actually did this yesterday but decided to post it one day late

some old zaino products left over that i dont use much anymore so last month i put zaio on it after a good wash clay and iron x. i did an onr wash after scrubbing the wheels/tires with apc in a foam sprayer and put one coat of z2 on top (gotta use this stuff sometime)
i have the zfx but have only used it a couple of times back when i was obsessed with seeing how many coats of z2,z5 i could get on my metallic black challenger (honestly i like my pinnacle and blackfire products more on that car now since i have switched) but zaino still has a place on my shelf and i figured it could be a good switch on my seven year old truck to bring it back some shine
using zfx does kind of make me feel like a mad scientist when mixing little drops of blue stuff with the pink liquids to make a purple polishing mix :)

I did a little touching up after I took the pictures. Under the hood detailing is too easy with the right products.
