Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

Washed my truck and vacuumed and wiped down the interior with Mckee`s quick interior. Then vacuumed and wiped down the wipes jeep with Groit`s quick interior. Then pulled her jeep out side and and washer her jeep with PoorBoy`s Super Slick Suds, I really liked it very slick but it also cleaned very well. Preped the Boat for a full day of fishing tomorrow. Now its time to go shine my self up and take the wife out to Boston for diner at Capital Grill and to Boston Symphony Ochestra.

    Tires and wheels are done.

Tires coated with TW Endura Shine. Wheels coated with Wolfgang Uber Ceramic and topped with PA Supersport.

Have to mount them now I guess....

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

Applied the first coat of wax (ever) to my 2017 corvette. Used Pinnacle Souveran for the first time too. Tried to "clay" using nanoskin but I couldn`t really tell if it was doing any good. Since it`s a new car (since last Sep) I imagine there isn`t much for the nanoskin to take off. The surface was incredibly smooth.

As for the Souveran, it went on and off really easy, like the P21S I`m used to. My only complaint, if it can be considered one, is that in my low-light garage, I couldn`t tell if I was getting wax on the entire panel. The wax goes on so clear that I just couldn`t tell how I was doing. So I ended up using way too much product than I probably needed to. I have the $30 sample size and must have used 1/3 of the container. Car looks great though. Like candy... If I get it out today I`ll snap a pic. It was raining yesterday and I didn`t want to get the car dirty just to drive it out of the garage for a picture

Don`t be so sure that there wasn`t much to take off. This is off a 1 day old bmw.

Formerly the "Best Detailer", now just Super Wax Waster Man. Not necessarily tactful, but normally right. It`s good to be da King !!!

And don`t forget to do a baggie test. What can feel as slick as Rick when you caress the paint with your fingers can be like a 5 o`clock shadow with the baggie test.

Cleaned the Highlander, did a review of Gyeon Bug and Grime Remover ...

...and then became disappointed after I checked on the status of my silica sprays.
