Sonax Wheel Cleaner+ is great stuff. Rim shield on the other hand has gotten mixed reviews.

What were your expectations for both products respectively?

Maybe I`ll do 2 rims with each and see which one last longer. Might be a interesting test!

This weekend lord willing with good weather I will be testing these two products. My truck is ready. Just have to give another bath to get the pollen off.

Just get Mckee`s hydro blue. Guard & Gloss is an ok product. I would rather use something with SiO2 than just a spray on sealant.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

Well I polished out 2 more of our Mack truck cabs, did one monday Tuesday and did one today polsihed out the hood and cab side but I had to rush it a bit and only got to use M07 on the roof didnt have time to follow it up with polish, truck needs to go out tomorrow. Thats 3rd truck in 7 days, I can say using my new G21 has made the work a lot easier and faster and more enjoyable meaning I am way more willing to do it. Also got to play with a few different polishes I have gathered up. All impressions are on single stage red paint with either a orange or yellow 5" Lake country flat pad, Meg`s M105 works well but wipe down is a pain and it dries out fast, Menzerna heavy cut 400 worked really well finished down awesome and was a breeze to wipe off (my favorite so far), Menzerna Super heavy cut worked well for cutting the roof that was so oxidized that it took 4 pads to do it as they were just gumming up with all the removed paint but it left a little haze not bad but slightly noticeable, Optimum Hyper Compound (spray) worked well for cutting but left very noticeable haze but its so easy prime and to get a nice even amount of product on the pad (may finish better on a less aggressive pad), Wolfgang Uber Compound and Total swirl remover both worked well were easy to wipe down and both finished very nicely as expected compound cut better but finished a tiny bit less and total swirl cut a little less buy finished down near perfect .
