Can`t believe I didn`t post these the other day. I`ve stepped up my game. I use Next Door to advertise and this guy literally around the corner had me do this. Wash, clay one area with over spray, wax and light interior cleaning. $120 in 3 hrs not bad.

Started in on the next test subject: 2011 Ford E250 Van, 106K Miles.
On the plus side, driver tore pretty much the entire passenger side off the van last fall so that side was replaced from driver door back, not much to correct on that side. One the minus side, had a tree at his house that scraped down the side of the drivers side each and every day last summer/fall.
Started on these areas with Rupes LHR 15 Mk II w/ Kamikaze Beast plate, Megs D300 and microfiber cutting discs...getting there but kinda slow. Hey, I have a GG Fast Cutting microfiber pad and some FCC...lets give that a try! Nah, still slow going and the side of that van is kinda, uh...large. OK...here comes Mr. FLEX 3401, Megs M101, LC Force Hybrid gray heavy cutting pad...20 minutes later, ready to move on.
Left=Drivers door pillar still marked up, right is after FLEX.
50/50 on hood after Rupes w/ D300/Cutting discs, Rupes Keramik Gloss Fine Gel Polish (yellow) and then Diamond Ultra Fine Gel Polish (white). Not sure the Ultra Fine actually did anything, ya can only polish a turd so much but the dark maroon metallic paint is (was) kinda nice so what the heck. I never know if Menz PO85RD (SF3800) actually does anything either but I always tried with that on darker cars too just because. Boy, the Rupes 15/Kami plate/Rupes white pad combo is so very smooooooth to work with whether it actually did anything worthwhile is kinda irrelevant as it`s such a joy to run.
One side done, hopefully the `easy side` (and the dreaded roof) is left to go. Will get the Gloss Shop Ceramic Coating when done. Thankfully the weather may be starting to get better around here so more appropriate (and entertaining) vehicles await. Still have a 2016 Transit Extended van (22ple HPC) and a `not-too-beat` 2014 E250 (Gyeon Prime) to finish to complete the `2017 Winter Coating Fiesta; I`m getting tired of vans and Ford Rangers...as is my credit card.
Edit: For any of you Rupes experts out there, what speed do you generally run at for yellow/white polishing? I see the Mike Phillips Book that came with the Rupes mentions 5-6 but that seems on the high end? FWIW I was kinda doing these to steps with 4 passes at speed 5 and then 2 more at speed 4 with very, very light pressure. I dunno...
