    Broke in my new Flex VRG 3401 with surbuf pad and D300. Did test spots on my hood and trunk and ooh-la-la! Lovin` it! All spiderwebbing gone, gone, gone. My eyes hurt from viewing test spots in the sun!

    Part II of the day was wiping down `69 Firebird with BF Waterless wash and applying BFPS. Another ooh-la-la moment!

    As I get ready to go to a wedding I realize my black pleather shoes are faded. Reach for my shoe shine and I remember I threw it in the garbage awhile back. So, like any good detailer, I reach for Chemical Guys VRP Dressing. Worked great!

    Ronkh,

    What`s your first impression of the Cima Sealant?

    I applied Opti Seal to the Fusion`s Tuxedo Black Metallic. It looks black/purple in the sun.

    Think I like it. has a touch more nuba look that bfcs, but takes longer to take on that look. not sure about durability, then again, not sure on durability of anything

    did a jb bmw with it last week, didn`t look purple

    Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

    I finally washed the Dakota and applied spray wax.

    Products used:
    • Ultima Paint Guard wash - lots of foam, strong soap smell, rinses nicely, can irritate my hands if I do not use nitrile gloves
    • Pinnacle XMT Spray Wax (latest formula) on the existing Blackfire Black Ice. The Blackfire is still a strong sheeter on the sides but much less on top so time for a little topper. Pinnacle is super easy to apply and remove.

    Wash = dawn
    Clay= nanoskin fine grade
    Seal= menzerna PL

    Tomorrow comes another coat of seal then wax. Not sure which wax to use. Did not need to polish or correction. So that is why I skipped that process.

    Thinking 2-3 coats pinn 2 or dodo basics of bling.

    Dodojuice hard blue wax comes to mind to.

    Decisions, decisions...

    Testing RAIN on all exterior glass also. It is a daily driver that spends all its time outside. Sonic blue in color.

    Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

    I cleaned up the Gator after a few trips in the woods this weekend.

    • Washed tire faceswith Optimum Power Clean 1:3 and cleaned the wheels with Optimum Car Wash, wheels protected with Mothers Spray Wax. Need to decide on how to do the wheels and not get it on the wheels and the aggressive tread.
    • Spot cleaning of matts with OPC 1:3
    • Cleaned paint with Optimum Car Wash (another bucket) and protected with Mothers Spray Wax
    • Protected trim with Poorboys Trim Restorer

    Optimum Car Wash suds have a half life of many hours on the ground. I wonder what causes that.

    sprayed my 2000 ford f150 down with eimann fabrik high gloss acrylic shield. kind of a fore runner of bfwd polymer spray. good stuff but not as good as bfwdps.
    bunky, you might give bfwdps a try on your new atv. easy to use and lasting results.
