Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
I took a couple beading pics of Black Ice at about 8 weeks just after it rained today. I washed it last on Sunday using Mr. Pink.
No sun so not a lot of contrast to make it pop plus shooting at ISO 3200 to get some depth of field.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
Today I`m tightening up the organization of my detail garage.
Using Stanley Fatmax bags to create a glass cleaning & maintenance kit; polish, sealant & wax kit; tire cleaning & dressing kit; interior cleaning & dressing kit; and PC7424 kit.

Ultima Waterless wash and Turtle Wax Ice.
Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
Blew out the garage and starting to decide what other stuff i can trade...also changed the serpentine belt on the Dakota -- piece of cake thanks to the automatic tensioner.
Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
second coat of max wax. :bigups
Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
The cars` been needing some attention for the past week. The gravel parking lot was taking its toll on the paint. Clayed and applied PB`s Sealant, dressed the tires and rear bumper trim. Mind you I did this in the garage with it being dark out. There`s lots of fluor. lights in there, but can`t see as well. So, we`ll see what it looks like in the morning
Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
I washed the Sebring.....
- Washed with Chem Guy`s Mr. Pink
- Cleaned tires and wheels with AutoWerkes APC
- Wiped down with Pinnacle XMT Spray Wax - LSP was shot, so a booster until I can do more (thinking Prima Amigo and Epic)
Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
This is what I did yesterday. It wasn`t a Chevy like i thought, but a lifted Dodge diesel. Actually it was also an automatic. Never really see much of those. After inspection I soon could figure out the previous owner had the silver bottom done by someone who wasn`t an expert at painting. Duly noted for when intake a machine to it next time... This was the first time I could actually fit my body inside and around the tires. I washed, decontaminated, glazed, and waxed it using AF Passion.

Sorry, I think you have to click on the second picture to see it. The truck fitnunter the awning by 3 inches. I was a close one, had to stand on the tires to clean the hood and front windshield. Like all the details I do, I try to get them l to say the vehicle looks cleaner than when they bought it :)
Oh and that`s AMMO MUD on the tires and inner wheel walls. I ran out of bare bones, thankfully Mud works the same.
Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
Cleaned up the interior of my daily driver...it was 85 F and humid in the garage

- Fake leather treated with Poorboy`s Leather Stuff
- Glass cleaned with PoorBoy`s Glass Cleaner and glass towel
- Steering wheel treated with Mothers VLR
- Plastics protected with Ultima Interior Guard

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
I have a 1983 380SL in the shop now - completely cleaned the interior today and plan for a complete external detail including some light polishing and sealing tomorrow. Lots of chrome to polish on that thing...
