Did a D114 rinseless wash on my car and the wheels. Did a DG AW wipedown afterwards.

Loving Hydro2. I am at almost 3 weeks now and it is looking good. So easy to use and beads like a BA.

Its just insane how easy it is to use. I was gonna try some Pinnacle rinseless wash on my car this morning but now i`m debating on using the rest of the Hydro2 I have mixed up.

Well, I used the Pinnacle rinseless. Smells kinda like Lipton lemon tea. Looks glossy though on the car.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

    Sunday evening.

Too warm (94) to do outdoor chores so I washed my Fusion with new sea sponges. I`ll do a review when I have a dirty car to wash.

The sea sponge experience was very different in a positive way.

Since the car was not dirty, I did a sheet rinse and began the washing process, not rinsing again until entire car was soaped, again using self-made hose end adapter to sheet rinse.

Amount of water used: 13 gallons. 3 gallons wash bucket, 3 gallons rinse bucket and 7 gallons total for pre rinse and final rinse.

Towel dried with medium plush MF towel with Hydro as lubricant/wax.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

Daughter came home from school a couple weeks ago on Wednesday, left Thursday afternoon for internship in Az. Left her car (VW Beetle that has been parked outside at school all year) at home. So after having it parked in the driveway a couple weeks, I couldnt stand to look at the dirty thing. So started with a wash and decon Friday, pulled my car out and put hers into the garage for a two step polish and seal on Saturday and Sunday. I`ve got over 10 hrs into it and still need to polish and seal wheels and do the interior.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

SO I had a 2013 Buick Regal to detail this weekend... I learned my lesson, always see the car before telling them how much and how long. This car HAD to be back at his work by 4pm, and I didn`t pick it up till 11am. It was just suppose to be a simple wash, polish, and protect detail. Well, even though it was a 2013 it was TRASHED. Get this, I spent the at least an hour claying the car. Seems the factory did a real number on this Buck, COVERING it in overspray. The pic below was literally just a 1/4 of the trunks worth of claying. It was so bad, I had to worry about just completing it as a whole. I couldn`t spend as much time on everything as I wanted too. I did manage to get it done though, just wish I had more time. Of course the paint even after a good polishing still had some deep scratches. BUT due to time and budget I couldn`t touch them all. That paint really did a number on my pads.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

Since I went on a road trip and did some clay target shooting the club is on about 3 miles of gravel round trip and another 5 days of dust I decided since it was late and didn`t want to drag out the buckets, hose, etc I stopped at a car wash and threw in a couple bucks into the meter. Great no soap but at least they used warm water, not sure it helps, but it got the thick layer of dust off. Drove the other 9 miles home and parked in the garage. Did a quick detail and put a another coat of BFCS on. Just got done and getting on the dark side out so didn`t take any photos.

Very strenuous and long day detailing today...I sprayed some of the new Chemical Guys Purple Stuff grape soda scented air freshener on the carpets of my truck.
