You had a dream, I had a thought.

    In my case it`s unique.......

The fact that it was sooooo detailed (as to products etc) said it all.

My thoughts (even with as few that I have) are just that. Not detailed.

Stripped any wax with OPC, did two IPA wipedowns, and added a coat of gloss coat ahead of winter. In a week, I`ll top with PBL coating booster, then WGDG. Get this puppy stocked and loaded. Just with the extra coat of GC, the paint is slick as snot!

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

Meant to post this a couple weeks ago... Noticed one of my employees had absolutely awful headlights. Some shady dude at a gas station walked up to him- his headlights were a little hazy before- and offered to fix them for $10. He paid and the dude just straight destroyed his lights. I have no idea how he could see anything..

So that`s what au started with. Horrible!

10 minutes with the PE-14 and the Mirka sanding discs, finished off with some m101...

    Ta da!

Needless to say, he was much appreciative(I did it for free).

One of the best detailing moments is to step in and fix someone else`s clueless destructions. It really separates you from almost any other detailer around. Especially when the customer says you`re the best they`ve had.

Also I very much dislike hacks that call themselves detailers. Even here in Palm Springs, I`ve seen some nice cars being abraded with bed sheets and bath towels and I just quietly think they would have way better results if I detailed it.

I don`t get to spend much time detailing anymore with the new job. It was good to do a favor for one of my guys.

6 caps of this. I`ll write a review soon on this.

I was really proud to look at the Airstream and Jeep because I worked on both of them.
