Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

After removing my bagger and installing new blades.... I powerwashed the underside of the deck and couldn`t stop.
I lubed everything and decided it needed a detail.
Meguiars Degreaser 4:1 on underside, engine, and top of deck.
All the plastic first with PERL.
Then PB QD+ on everything, including plastic and seat vinyl.

Edit: almost forgot PB Bolt n Brite on Tires

Even went back and spent 10 mintes on the oil cap with Degreaser.

Not bad for a 2005 I`ve had since new.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

My SRT got a coin op rinse and uber qd spritz /wipedown with griots pfm (large one)
Couldn`t stand the water spots from the rain yesterday.

Yesterday evening i got the Hellcat washed, bdx ,clayed the hood roof and trunk and did the wheels, took a while

I saw someone else already knicked the wheel and took off the satin finish. (Right under the L in pirelli)

Any ideas on a touch up? Black Satin high heat temp paint?

front brakes are s big i had to get the part behind the caliper after moving the car

Damn this car is gonna look good when im done

Decent marring on trunk roof and apillars but prolly an easy cut.

Polishing begins tonight, my two orders come in this afternoon with all my new Rupes pads.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

fixed some bird bombs that had been left too long...the nano is also a great way to do test spots if you have all the Rupes pads and tools

dialed in with a 1 step of rupes uhs pad and adapt

Gonna go around the car with my nano and mini tonight so tomorrow I can just start off with my lhr12 and 21mk2

I think i will go another step and use essence via white pad to really bring the gloss out before I put gtech csl then exo v2

Coming from a black car...I bet the white is much less stressful to keep clean. Looks awesome!

Maybe, but it is ?less rewarding? As well as people who know cars jaws dropped when they saw how it looked, and more so when they saw how easy it really was to care for. And I don`t have any more good Merlin Shots.

I bought some plastic stackable drawers from Wally World. Now I can finally get my towels and pads organized. Before they were all in Rubbermaid tubs and stuff on the bottom stayed there. I have to get motivated to get organized. Love the pictures of the lawnmower. I`m waiting until Fall to do anything like that.
