Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
Washed my car Saturday. Woke up sunday to go get a full throttle and when I walked outside I found the front of my car is covered in hard water stains. The stupid sprinklers at my condo apparently are set to go off every night now. Looks like during the weekend im going to have to park in a different spot. I took a quick pic half way thru cleaning just so everyone could see just how important waterless washes really are.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
Wheels sprayed with S100 Total Cycle Cleaner, then brushed with a small wheel brush.
Washed with Wolfgang Auto Bathe with a Carpro Merino Wash Mitt via Mr. Clean Autodry.
Decontaminated with CarPro Iron-X, Nanoskin Speedy Prep Towel and Zaino Z-18 clay bar.
Polished with a PC7424xp with a 3" backing plate and 4" LC White/Black/Red CCS Pads.
Polish used Meguiars M101 and CarPro Reflect Polish. Paint cleaned with CarPro Eraser.
Rubber, plastic, and leather dressed with water-based CarPro PERL for a UV-blocking shine.
CarPro CQuartz FINEST nanotech ceramic paint coating was used for the Last Step Product.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
I just vacuumed the interior of my DD, wiped surfaces down with 1z Cockpit Premium, and cleaned/protected the seats and steering wheel with Mothers VLR.
I also admired my new arrivals...

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
Nothing today but I washed my daily yesterday. I decided to use sonus acrylic spritz to boost the klasse sealant that is on the car.

The bikes look great Merlin. How long did each bike take? It seems like it would be a pain to do.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
This was from Sunday before detailing. My mom wanted a detail done before selling the car so I decided to clean up the headlights as well. Wet sanded with water and 1500 grit over a sponge. I like having the flexibility of the sponge rather than a block on some lights. Polished with HD Uno on a LC thin wool purple pad and finish polished with HD Polish on LC white pad. Topped off with CG Top Coat Sealant & Wax which probably wont last very long.
I was in the garage and used a cell phone camera for all the pictures and this 50/50 shot was really the only one that didn`t come out blurry so no finished product pics yet.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
Last night....washed Sally, dried and then put on a coat of Optimum spray wax, BF tire gel on the tires, and Sonax to the fender wells. Got caught in the rain on Sunday on the way home from a car show. Good news was I hardly had to run the wipers on the way home thanks to BF Poly seal on the windows.

Maybe by .25 mph haha. There was some static build on them when I pulled them out of the head covers before I did it so who knows. I am retarded enough though that I took them over to the sink after and tested the sheeting for a minute lol. I`m glad my wife wasn`t home to see me.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
After an extended period of not being able to do much, I finally had a chance to wash the truck...
Today`s efforts
- Washed the truck with new Merino wool wash mitt (won a couple weeks ago) with Poorboys Super Slick and Suds (from a recent trade). I still want to use several more times before doing the review. I can say it slides effortlessly on the paint.
- Sheeted water off then dried with a waffle weave microfiber. The Blackfire Black Fire Ice is holding up extremely well.
- Waxed using Pinnacle XMT 360 Spray wax and a Autogeek Super Plush (lavender ones) Microfiber towels (from a trade). The combo worked well.
- Wiped down jambs with Adam`s Detail Spray
- Cleaned glass with Sprayway Glass Cleaner and a edgeless microfiber / waffle weave combo,

2 Ford 12 passenger vans, a black Lexus ES350, and a black Escallade. All maintenance details for the same client.

There is no way I could afford to take that title away from you :lmfao That was CG Butter Wet Wax btw.
This was today`s quicky. Done for free for my little brother. He tried to pay even when I told him I didn`t want anything. I gave him hell when we were younger so I always feel like I owe him. He desperately needs a full detail but that is a little more than I am willing to give. There is some CC failure too. 1500 grit, 2500 grit, HD Uno on LC thin wool, HD Polish on LC White topped with CG Top Coat Wax & Sealant.

I gotta admit Z-2 with ZFX is still a good sealant that make a hard coat.
I like using Z-2 with ZFX so I can put three coats on in one afternoon.

i have the zfx but have only used it a couple of times back when i was obsessed with seeing how many coats of z2,z5 i could get on my metallic black challenger (honestly i like my pinnacle and blackfire products more on that car now since i have switched) but zaino still has a place on my shelf and i figured it could be a good switch on my seven year old truck to bring it back some shine
using zfx does kind of make me feel like a mad scientist when mixing little drops of blue stuff with the pink liquids to make a purple polishing mix :)

I did a little touching up after I took the pictures. Under the hood detailing is too easy with the right products.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?
detailed a neighbor`s 99 cadillac land barge to help bring his spirits up a bit after some major surgery and 30 days in icu. it was a daily driver, garage kept, but never detailed. turned in to an all day affair, but he`s happier now. this one wore me out. :)
