Keeping TID up is not a simple task.

This is very sad news, out of all the sites I go to this one is the first I check out. Hopefully this shakes out.

Logistical nightmare plus payment system overhead. So far (to my knowledge) a per-post payment system business model hasn`t worked.

Also, this process would take weeks and the site would likely lose key members. Once members leave it is difficult to rebuild the base.

I would love that this forum continue on but not sure its even an option.

My guess is someone will start a new forum . Lots of people will find new homes in the ones already established and some will find each other in a new forum .

This is pretty much how forums work in my experience reading forums.

Its nice that we have the opportunity to exchange private info /emails in the next few days if we desire not to lose contact with people!

Ah this sucks. I love coming to this site...I have truly learned a ton from a lot of folks on here.
