I use chamois to dry my car, and I`m just curious......

If you got dirt or stain on the chamois, how do you clean it after?

    thx for replying

Most autopians don`t use chamois because it can remove the wax. Try an Absorber, Water Bandit, Charisma towel or large Microfiber towel for drying. All of these items can be hand washed and air dried. You shouldn`t be getting much dirt on them- if you do, you didn`t wash your vehicle very well. Unless you have a leaf blower available, those are the choices.:up

I use a synthetic chamois and I just put it in the washing machine with some soap. Comes out clean and does not hurt the chamois.

Totally agree with the previous threads. Try not to use genuine chamois and wash your drying towel of choice in the washer with just a bit of liquid soap. Laters

Most recommend washing a chamois with a mild shampoo. I concur with Don and the other posters, above, I would recommend another approach to drying. I love the blower. Its quick and kind to the paint.
