Your father sounded like a man who accomplished quite alot, but most importantly he had your LOVE & RESPECT.

Sorry to hear about your father. From reading your post he must of been a good man. From reading your other post I would say he did a fine job in raising you and was probably an awfully proud parent.

    A Time to Grieve

    Dan,

I`ve been a nurse and worked in Hospice for quite some time & as you know there are many books dealing with death/dying/grieving process. Dealing with the deep and prolonged grief that follows a loss may well be the most painful and disturbing challenge of our lives. The book titled: A Time to Grieve- Meditations for Healing After the Death of A Loved One-- by Carol Staudacher can accompany you/ others through this difficult period.

It`s easily read and touches the heart and soul of each one who reads it. I`d suggest it for all adults in particular and even for people who haven`t experienced loss of family members.. It will be like a companion to all those who would liketo read thru the pages..

    Grief is itself a medicine.--
-- with grief the way back is the way through.- Sincerely, softoa..(Opal).

Condolences to you and your family

Any man can be a Father; few become a real inspiration to their children, like your Father was to you.

The best way to honour his memory is to always make him proud of you and what you do

    Peace
