You might have to use some kind of all purpose cleaner or a solvent of some kind to get the polish off, then come back with the trim treatment. Even clay might work

If it`s the Plastic Trim your talking about , then clean it with some Meg`s APC and then you can use Black Wow Trim Restorer that we carry in stock. This should work very well on the Plastic trim around the bed of the truck.

The oils in peanut butter will also remove this if you don`t want to go buy something. Then restore with Black Wow. Nothing else out there comes close in my opinion!

FWIW - its the oils in PB that will temporarily remove the wax (me I prefer to use a specific product and keep PB and jam for sandwiches)

WD-40 will work to remove it. Then go over it with a trim treatment.

    Focus Todd!

Wow! There are a ton of opinions on the black trim; I`ll add mine too. I like Wax Blaster and Stoner Trim Shine.
I hear voices in my mind and you’re worried that you’re the freak.

Trim Shine is one of my "go-to" products. Cheap, easy and works great!
