Almost turned down a detail job

I got a call from a lady and asks if I could detail her daughters white chevy blazer.I told her no problem. She was wanting it for a highschool dance .

I pull up to her house on friday morning bout 7 a.m.And oh dear Lord, what have I got myself into. The white blazer had large amounts of tar on both sides. Not thin tar but thick, and looking on the passenger side down the glass was something sticky that didn`t want to let go.And the wheels and rims were completly balck. And then ,I opened the doors.Man O man.The lady said I know its dirty ,and of course I was thinking ,this isnot dirty this is digusting.Almost turned it down.I have only been detailing on the side for two months ,and I have ran across some nasty cars ,but none could compare to this one.Well 4 hrs.later it was clean.Even tarminator had its hands full cleaning this. And the sticky stuff on the window like to have never come off.She told me after I was through that it had been a long ,long time since it had been cleaned. She gave me a tip,and I was thinking bout giving her one.Like next time its this bad call somebody else.
Any of ya`ll ever turn one down?

Yes, I`ve had detail jobs that bad!

I had a lady call for a full detail on her 2005 Chevy Impala, bright red with tan leather. She`s a 20-something business woman. How bad could it be?

Have you ever see HUGE GLOBS OF TREE SAP?!!!... All over the hood.

I`ve never seen anything so difficult to remove!:cursing::cursing::cursing:

Some of them were as large as golf balls!!!!ut:

I did tell her to stop parking under pine trees.

The tree sap on the hood looked quite a bit like this:

I`ve fought tree sap and tar, try orange paint - the kind you get if you run over a freshly painted stripe in the road. Interiors? Did a Tahoe the owner uses to carry 6 large dogs in.

I now turn down the really crappy ones - send them to the local "autospa"!
