Well I picked up my car today from the dealer ...it was in there because of a re call the engine would just shut off...they said they replaced the fuel pump .just don`t know why it took them over a month to figure what was wrong....thanks for everyone`s reply`s....from my original Thread
My wife’s 2017 highlander has the recall also
Toyota refered the fuel pump a low pressure pump
evidently it’s too low pressure said they would contact us to bring it in. That was a month ago
i guess somebody has to make a boat load of pumps. Haven’t had any problems yet
knock on wood
Great you haven`t had a new problem.....I was worried the engine would shut off....with my recall....they gave me a 2020 highlander as a loaner...really liked it
Yeah I do visited there last time in the season.
OK I am bumping this thread because here in Northeast Wisconsin and Spring has FINALLY sprung and the trees are in full bloom. It`s been dry and warm and NOW I am experiencing this excessive pollen dust (pines and maples) that most of you in the south had in early March.
No, it ain`t pretty! You can wash your vehicle in the morning, leave out or take it to work, and by evening it looks like a dusty mess. Add the constant grass mowing from businesses and residences add a lot of dandle-lion dander and grass pollen to the mix.
AND I have never had allergies or Asthma like this spring EVER. Makes one wonder if this is "mimicking" COVID-19-variant symptoms.
Anyway, as the saying goes, "He who laughs last laughs best." I say, "He who laughs last didn`t get the joke until later!"
