In our area anything 20mph or higher over the limit is open for a Reckless Op charge, but it`s discretionary unless triple-digits are involved. My wife and I have had our clocked speeds written down to avoid that when there were really big numbers involved.

(Guys I know claim to "run 100-plus all the time" in their [INSERT pricey sports car, oten with a radar jammer] but I call BS, zero way they`d get away with that and the LEOs I know say the`d just write up a "visual" if they didn`t get a reading.)

I myself would *NEVER* hold up anybody behind me who wants to go faster. If I`m flying low at [egregiously high speed] and somebody wants past I let `em as soon as traffic allows. People probably think "he doesn`t need to go that fast" about the speeds I consider "the natural rhythm" (in certain vehicles) but that`s them and they should get out of my way so I oughta reciprocate. I don`t know what the story is and I won`t second-guess them.
