Re: If you were buying a pressure washer this week, what would you by?

I am going to be giving the little Ryobi a shot for my home use. Its small and easy to store and pull out and hopefully a lot quieter then my old gas job. I took my gas job to work as a back up to our North Star 3000 psi 2.5 gpm. The home one is only for rinsing the wifes jeep or my camaro before a wash, the real dirty stuff goes to work for the big boy.

+1 for a happy customer with the 1600psi 1.2 gpm Ryobi that Zach recommended in his thread. I still need to do all the upgrades, but out of the box it’s worked great.

    I’ve used it for:
    Pre-rinseless spray downs
Degreasing engines, belly pans, and underbodies at work
Blasting the flaking Home Depot deck over paint off our deck. The turbo nozzle worked perfect for this. Granted, you’ve gotta use common sense with that thing as I accidentally etched our asphalt driveway trying to clean off some concrete splotches left after we had a patio poured.

My coworker was so impressed with it he went out and bought one for home. His gas powered pressure washer had recently died, and he had grown tired of maintaining one-more-gas-powered-thing. He did end up getting the next size up just because he liked that it came with a reel. I like the little guy because it takes up so little room when you’re not using it.

Actually I think it was one up from the cheapest - I got the one with the soap tank built in. I think it was $120 not on sale. 1600 PSI, 1.2 GPM. Came with a soap nozzle, standard nozzle, and turbo nozzle. RY141600

@512Detail, make sure that you get the low volume MTM Foam Canon, it will give you better performance than the regular one (the one I have). I literally came to this conclusion today, I am currently hunting for the smaller orifice that the low volume gun has.

I believe you can get the different sized orifices here ACC or AG. Pretty sure I saw Ray say that a year or so ago. If you can’t find one close by I know where you can get one but it literally comes from China. They have shipped to me in 8 days so it’s not too bad. You can PM me.

MTM Hydro website? That`s the ONLY place on the net that I have been able to find the orifice`s specifically for the gun. I even looked at carburetor jets

Sent you a PM. It’s actually MJJC’s website. I’ve looked, I honestly can’t tell the difference in physical appearance between the MJJC Cannon or MTM’s.

I picked up this little Greenworks PW back in September and have been pleased with it so far.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I bet it has the same inside parts as a lot of the `cheaper` PW being sold (including the ryobi) It looks identical to the one being sold at Walmart also.

Not in your price range (close to $900), but I`m also looking at may be getting one of these in 2018:

    BUMP!
I believe this will do nicely, when I pick it up next week.
After wards I will figure out how to use it.
Plus will have to acquire the mods. once I have it in hand, for reference.
