Great things should not be able to pass but I believe you will be reunited in time. She is not gone if she is not forgotten.
Welcome back. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful story about your mom.

Lonnie -
Your words were very nice to read; thank you for your thoughts.
I was so Blessed to be around a couple of generations of really great Parents and GrandParents that taught me much about Serving others..
And when we read the Scriptures, what do we read about the most ? It is the Savior, always teaching and serving others; all the way through Gethsemane, Calvary, the Tomb on the 3rd Day, and then on until He departed back to His Father in Heaven..
I loved what you quoted in bold.. It is so true..
When we leave this earthly life, we take NOTHING with us but what we did and what we made of our time here..
And yes, our Character is the most important of all we have..
There are NO Rich men in the cemetery.

My Canadian Brother Richy !
Thank you for your sweet words; I am glad you gave that talk about your Dad to him while he is on the earth. I am sure it touched his heart in such a way that he will ever love you and remember what you said to him.
Yes, my dear little Angel-Mother is very aware of us down here and I am glad that I can pray every day and ask for her and my Dad to be Blessed..

SGM2008,
I really appreciate your thoughts; yes I agree with you 100%.. Nothing can be harder.
When you look back at all they did for us selflessly sacrificing all they had so that you could have a better life..
I am glad to be back and hope to be able to help !

My Other-Brother-Ray - !
Thanks for the welcome back.
I am humbled to hear those kind words spoken of me by someone else and yourself; I am so glad that I could be of help.
I still use L/C Hydro-Shreds with nothing but great results.. Thank you for sharing that experience you had with Joe Metlow.. I hope to meet him someday too.
Appreciate your sweet words regarding mi Mama` - Yes, she and I always had a very close spiritual connection; I think I had a great balance of her genes and my Dads.
Her Father, my Grandpa Gomez - (the one who took her to go seek out the Farm Workers on Sunday) - this man was totally committed to his Church and the Gospel. He personally baptized over 1,200 people into the Church, and organized and built dozens of Churches throughout Mexico, Texas, California, and Arizona.
And before that, he fought with Pancho Villa in the Revolution ! They really liked him because he could read and write, and he read all the Wanted Posters to Pancho Villa. He even set up a Payroll System so they could pay their soldiers.. His life was the subject of a Senior Thesis at SMU, Dallas, Texas.
I am so Blessed by all these pioneers ahead of me..
I agree, Ray, the commitment to serve a lifetime is becoming more rare all the time, and its too bad...
Again, mi Hermano, thank you for all that you have said and done for me all these years..
