Bucket Seat Cushion, 12 inches
Any one have one in their detailing arsenal? Seems like a great tool to sit for applying trim products and wheel and tire work.

Nah, "solution in search of problem" IMO, at least in most cases. If you want to sit on something, find the best/most appropriate "something" for you. I can`t see "sitting on a pad that`s on top of a bucket" being it...though I guess it might be the Exact Right Thing for somebody!
About ready to spring for one of these with the LD sale. Angus did a review on one.

Ah, now THAT one...as opposed to the "Bucket-top cushion".. looks promising, for all sorts of uses.
I had one these given to me as a Christmas present 2 years ago by none other than the forum`s original wax waster. It`s awesome, it`s soft yet firm. There isn`t a week that goes by that I don`t use it at least a couple of times. I use it a lot to kneel on while I roll over on my creeper. Several of my joints aren`t original equipment. This tool literally makes it so I can do some things that I shied away from before.
This is a product that I would highly recommend.
Ahh thanks for idea, I have couple seats/cushions i use for hunting.
GearHead1- which one is working so well for you, the Bucket cushion or the other one?
Yeah, I bet it *is* great for kneeling on, I`d hate to be without my knee cushions and I`m still on my original equipment joints (so I bet it makes an even bigger diff for guys like you).
FWIW, my not-so-positive view of the Bucket-top one is primarily related to sitting on the bucket period; adding a cushion wouldn`t make me want to do that, and if I got one of those cushions I`d use it in other ways...for which it`d probably work just fine.
my cushion has wheels and a base to put stuff on (the detailing stool)
I use knee pads or another seat cushion type thing when I have to get to the low areas, but luckily I`m only 33 so it`s not that big of an issue right now I just am trying to plan ahead.

512Detail- Heh heh, that was around the age where I had to quit driving a stick...actually my knees are a lot better now, 20-some years later!
GearHewad1- Ah, OK...yeah, that looks great.
I`m still using the Griot`s pad I got for Christmas way back when, but it`s finally starting to wear out.
