For general overhead lighting, the links Dan provided above are one of the "best bang for the buck" LED options available. For their cost, lumens, and lifespan, you`ll be hard pressed to find a better option for the money. They`re also very efficient, per fixture: 4424 lumens, 36W, 123 Lumens per Watt, 121 Lumens per $1

What are the dimension of the building?
1700 square feet....not sure on hieght....the ceiling is definitely being replaced....once the construction begins I`ll know how much more over head I can gain....or expand the roof

What`s the width and length of the building though? Hard to tell form pics but in order to give suggestions I think it`s critical to know the size/dimensions of the work space. I know I don`t like being crowded when I work on a car and want adequate space to move around the car. Depending on the size (width in this case) it may impact how I`d place tools, equipment, and product storage.

Ceiling height should be a factor in choosing your lighting too so it`s important to know. T5 are a popular option but they are not recommended in lower ceiling applications (below 15 feet) due to glare. Keep in mind this is coming from a lighting expert and is not based on my own experiences.
