Autopia name used by a detailer in my country

Just came accross a detailer in the UAE with the name "autopiacarcare"

Best ceramic coating in abu dhabi | Autopia Car Care

I would have thought these names are trademarked? Just wanted to point it out.

seems like an infringement, but I notice they did use web name of autopiacarcare-uae.com and our benefactors use autopia-carcare.com and autopia.org. guess the lawyers can argue about it.

Somehow I don`t believe it really matters across borders, let alone on the other side of the rock.

I know that if someone in another state wanted to use my business name there wouldn`t be an issue because it`s not in the same state

Yeah I was wondering the same thing. Have no idea how these laws work.

Does anyone know what the PIA in Autopia means? If its something logical with meaning it would make sense. If not then its just a case of lack of creativity(by the guys in the UAE) lol.

if you ever do get the chance, schedule it when they have detail fest. it`s held on the same premises.
