I am still baffled by being able to rent at Trump Tower on only a $150k salary. But, he also got a detail by the best detailer in Southern Cal for $350. He must be one of those extreme couponers.

Agreed. That makes 2 of us. He bragged that it was $1,000,000 too so he probably got his M & D to pony up some $$.

I want to be compensated for the time I spend reading all 15 pages!! :biggrin1:

I won`t go to startbucks and pay $5.00 for a coffee. Is my choice. IF Mr. D was to expensive, it was his choice to go elsewhere without all of this drama..:noidea::whistle:

I also just went back to the beginning of the thread and it looks like the guy "removed the content" of a lot of his posts. Really shows how much he felt he didn`t do or say anything wrong, eh?

Question: Is $1,700 a reasonable price for David Fermani to polish and Opti-coat my car?

    Answer: Yes.

    /thread
Sage advice from Greg Nichols: "Hey, Supe? When you`re trying to get the air bubble out of your syringe of Opti-Coat, don`t point it at your face, mmmkay?"

    Too much fun here~!

I think we should have told him its way too much, and gave him Tyler Norwood aka Holden_C04 phone number and had Tyler do the work......then the true cost of a proper detail might have been understood. Or maybe this head case is Tyler Norwood aka Holden_C04 trying desperatly to get back in the good graces here on Autopia? Or the detailer in Deigo was Tyler Norwood aka Holden_C04 in which case we know the only 1000% was the number of scratches per foot after the detail as the disappearing special polishes allowed the halograms to appear. Or Tyler Norwood aka Holden_C04 is now detailing primarily for the Trump Towers Plaza group.

I smell burnt trim from this thead?

    Cheers,

Now that the storm has blown over we can look back at why this thread gained so much momentum and why the replies were so heated, basically you had someone come in and for the sole purpose of causing poop to be disturbed put up lies and omission of truths to accomplish one goal and that was to get at Dave.

Maybe the text Dave sent was over the top but when in the heat of battle(Of course what would I KNOW about this lol...)you want to smash the person who has used a forum to lie about who you are as a businessman and what was said in a conversation regardless of the media(E-mail,text). The BMW owner showed his true colors and that is not open for debate, as every once in awhile a guy like this comes around online and most of us in the trade deal with this type of client from time to time as well.

I have noticed a sharp increase over the last few years in people going on the forums and saying whatever they want whether it is factual or not means nothing to them, just look at my siuation with Rich @ Gloss-it and Andy and this point is made without question in my opinion. The other part of this is soceity here and abroad these days has people not respecting each others property......... personal space etc..., we all see it at least those of us who try and live our lives with some sense of honor and respect in our daily conduct.

This will come off "Preachy" to some and I am not thumping any Bible and in no way say I live a upright Cristian lifestyle by those standards but I do believe in God and really do not have ill will towards anyone......until you mess with me though. The thread was filled with drama and at times you have to admit VERY funny and entertaining as this guy and the other guy who came in with "The sillyness" were packed off to "Bannedcamp" but in my view threads like this serve as a warning to guy`s who start something for the fun of it or other reasons...that just like you will not speed by a police car parked on the side of the road you better keep your posts on point, without embellishment and something halfway constructive.

Some will agree with my sentiments and others ..................well I will be okay with myself regardless.

Thing is, in most of their heads they are not intentionally doing anything. The brain has a way of justifying actions. It`s denial.
