Ron Ketcham- Any info on FK146? I`m using it more and more as a post-wash QD, seems almost like an idiot-proof spray sealant at least on some vehicles.

It is an upgrade of resins from the 145.
Personally, I don`t care for it, didn`t when I worked there.
Old technolgy and old resins.
Try the Fast Finish you have heard me chat about, it will blow you away.
I`ll send you a PM shortly.

Ive used Fast Finish as a drying agent/ spray on LSP as you dry, but that was when I dried completely by using MFs. If one is using a blower to mostly dry, you might want to spray it on as a post-dry enhancer. It is a rather unique spray LSP type product.
PM me, got something for you.

Who manufactures "fast finish"?
Thanks Ron. :D
Why all the PMing? I`m feeling a bit left out. :(
I was actually asking about product info you`d recommend and why. Fast Finish sounds interesting...what`s special about it?
Ron Ketcham- Roger that on the "resins" in FK146, that`s kinda what I`d expected.
Oh geeze...so FF is better huh...and me with all this FK146. Sheesh, between the FF, bug pads, and ETR I`m gonna spend some money at AI sooner or later :o
FF is a Valugard product. It`s a spray-LSP/QD product. One of the most distinctive characteristics about it I found is that really does seems "hydrophobic" When I sprayed it on a finish I was drying, it repelled the water and made the drying process with the towel easier and quicker. It leaves a nice gloss and it`s pretty slick. You can use it to just QD too. I didn`t have the FK QD at the same time I had FF, and although FK isn`t really a spray-on LSP type of product ,like FF is, I want to see how the two compare. Gloss, slickness, but even more importantly for me, lack of streaking and hazing, are important qualities. I recall FF doing rather well with all of those.
Thanks Bill.
Excuse my ignorance, but it AI related to FK somehow, or a completely different company Ron was also associated with?
Hope Ron doesn`t mind my answering for him: he worked for both Finish Kare and Automotive International. Take it away, Ron.....
Just checked VG website...pretty lousy site.
Where does one buy FF from?
Not ignoring you, but since there is no distributor for ValuGard I am aware of, it would be very expensive to ship over to Aussie Land.
You could email beth at AI and ask her if they have someone there now, I am not aware since been retired from the company for over 3 years.

The Valugard site does have a link to an online store. It`s on the far right hand side--even it`s just for USA distribution.
