Since you don`t need ZFX. Would you do the whole car and let it dry for 20- 30 min. or apply it and wipe it off right away?

Nothing is being replaced. Z-AIO and Z-CS are just additions to the Zaino product line.

Z5 Pro and Z2 Pro will still give the best durability.

You apply Z-AIO by machine or hand and then wipe it off. There`s no real need to let it sit.

OK, but what I am saying is, can you use ZAIO and ZCS without the ZFX, and it still look as good as if you did the old style, Z5 w/ ZFX treatment?

The C.S. does absolutely look as good as Z5pro or Z2pro. I find the look to be somewhat in the middle on looks, has the extreme flake pop of Z2pro and still retains the Depth of Z5pro.

Here is a possible example of a full detail using Zaino:

#1 Z7 Wash or your favorite car shampoo

#2 Z18 Clay or your favorite clay

    --If light swirls skip #3--

#3 Buff (hand or machine) per your favorite polish

#4 Final polish stage - use ZPC or your favorite final polish

    #5 Z-AIO (replaces ZFX)

    #6 Z-2 and/or Z-5 **NOTE ZFX unnecessary**

    #7 Z-8 (if used) stop

    #8 Z-CS if Z-8 not used

From what I read, the jury is out on where Z-8 fits here. From those initial beta testers, Z-8 had a harder time setting on top of Z-CS. Right?

    Quick Wash Detail:

    #1 Z7 Wash

    #2 Z-AIO (optional)

    #3 Z-CS

My thinking is Z-8 step #8 in the full detail? Then, you would use Z-CS on a quicker detail.

Or you could just do this:

    z7 wash

    Zpc

    CS

It`s a really versatile sealer that can fit into many combos in the lineup. As per Z8, After the Residue has disappeared, if a Z8 wipe down is done, you will see another boost in slickness. CS + Z8 gives an outrageously slick surface. Don`t say I didn`t warn you.

    @Sergei:

Is step 4 (ZPC) AND step 5 (ZAIO) redundant or am I missing something? Why would you do both?

Well Z-PC is more agressive vs. Z-AIO. Z-AIO has very mild abrassives and a cleaner. If you have very light swirls, then of course Z-PC can be cut out and go to Step #5.

    Thanks.

I will use both the first time I try this on my own car to see what it gives me. Probably gives me a super-slick surface in preparation for Z-5P.

    If i`m understanding this correctly,

    - ZFX is recommended only when multiple layering (x3).

    - ZAIO, then go straight to Z2/Z5 when 1 `layering`.

    - ZCS after curing, then Z8.

ZAIO or (Z5pro or Z2pro with ZFX as the first layer to insure good bonding to the paint)

Well it happend, Detail City BANNED me?:banned:

After a long open letter to all my other members that I know from PB events, samples I sent to them etc etc, these tools removed my last letter to everyone in the thread.

Sure enough, I tried to refresh, cannot access on my acount.

Really poor moderators in my view and it`s sad that I didn`t even get a chance to thank all those prior.

Anyway, glad Sal is releasing an AIO product.

Yes it is. And it`s just sad that no one can even try to say thank you. All I got was Don`t go away mad, just go away for my post.

After all these years with that site, providing feedback, acting in good faith and meeting new people at Poorboy events, sending out samples, lending my equipment etc etc, they took it upon themselves to remove my last post thanking all of those I`ve befriended. I haven`t posted in months and now I know why. Next time I see Steve from Poorboys, I have to ask what is happening on this site.

    And on another note:

I`ll be putting in my order whenever the newer products become avalible.
