After all these years with that site, providing feedback, acting in good faith and meeting new people at Poorboy events, sending out samples, lending my equipment etc etc, they took it upon themselves to remove my last post thanking all of those I`ve befriended. I haven`t posted in months and now I know why. Next time I see Steve from Poorboys, I have to ask what is happening on this site.

    And on another note:

I`ll be putting in my order whenever the newer products become avalible.

I don`t understand it- Steve from Poorboys can send samples to everyone and those guys aren`t called shills when they write reviews, but when people post about Zaino products it`s a different story Here it`s open, people are reviewing Zaino, Red Dot and every other product ever made, many even discontinued.

Detail City is dishing out tons of bad karma and getting rid of some of their best members.

Oh well. Thanks to Autopia for allowing this and every other discussion about every product.

I can`t help but think such actions would have a negative impact on the site sponsors` reputations.

wow..the more detailing sites I visit, the more I like Autopia!

I think the best thing about CS, as was mentioned, is its compatibility with products outside the Z line. If this is true, then that is a major plus!

(zaio is a sketchy acronym though..it`s like you tried to type `zaino` and fat-fingered it lol.)

Yea, did seem a bit harsh. As I was posting the question to "the moderator" to ask why my original post on this very thread over at DC was removed and no one gave me a heads up via email/PM or something to state what I did wrong. Then, in reply in the new thread, it was my time to say goodbye to those I knew and a few other issues and questions to them about the action taken, but that too was removed. After that, I was banned. DC site is way out of control. After this issue, I sent the webmaster to remove all data and vehicle posts, pictures etc to my name on DC. I know many good people are leaving or being banned over at DC.

Ah, but at last here at Autopia, there`s not the threat of Homeland Security sending you to "Gitmo".

As for the Zaino, I`m wondering how much cleaning action chemical or abrasive the AIO will have and how close it is to Klasse AIO and others. If chemical, does it leave a light haze?

The headlight areas of my Camaro have a goofy single-stage type finish that tends to oxidize very quickly. Here is an example of the cleaning ability of ZAIO used by hand. I applied it with a cotton applicator and worked it for about 45 seconds to 1 minute.

Not bad! not bad at all. I`m sure in time things will improve even more like Z5-Pro and Z2-Pro and of course Z8.

Wonder how the Optimum is coming along as well. I haven`t used the polish, but from others using it, seems damn universal polish. So the sealant should be interesting to see as well.

And for those that supported me in the DC snafu..... THANK YOU!!:thx

Welcome to the club of DC x-Patriots.

After inappropriate deletion of one of my posts, I believe it was about mis-information about Zaino, I requested that they terminate my membership. Otherwise, I am sure I would have been Banned because of my concurrent ideologies.

As long as people are up front where they got the product from, I think that is pretty fair. Seems everyone here is pretty open about where they get stuff from.

I have to admit I`m surprised there is so much excitement about these two products. One is an AIO which there are many of on the market already (Poorboy`s, Optimum, Klasse, etc.). The other is a sealant you don`t have to wipe off. TBH, I think that`s an impressive advance in function but not exactly the greatest thing since sliced bread. It`s never really taken me that long to remove haze and it`s never included that much effort that I would be gung-ho to stop doing it. Personally, I like it when my LSP hazes and then I have to remove it. It`s kind of like the curtain coming up for the big show.

Also, to those who would like to claim that certain forums are more "open" than others, I would like to remind everyone of a recent occurence where a certain member who along with his posts magically disappeared for a while. Then when it was convenient he reappeared. I`m not bashing one forum or supporting another. I just think people who think one forum is more open than another have had the wool pulled over their eyes.

I also really don`t understand why some people seem to go out of their way to bash whole categories of products in an effort to make their favorites seem superior. Personally, I feel like there is enough room in the detailing world for sealants and carnaubas. They both have their own distinct look IME and most people seem to prefer one over the other. There`s no reason why we constantly have to be arguing that one is better than the other. It`s like saying lobster is a better dinner than steak. They`re both great but in their own way.

You are kidding, right? I can think of 3 forums that would have closed and deleted this thread a long time ago.
