I`m new to the ONR game, and curious about using something like a bug or tar remover, or even something like Iron Cut? Can I wash with ONR, spray on the tar remover and rewash with ONR, or is this a time that I`d be better off using a conventional wash and plenty of rinse water?

    Thanks,

    Ben

We pre-treat tar with an orange/water based solvent prior to an ONR wash. If there is alot of tar/debris we`ll make up a small bucket of ONR and use a MF scrubber towel first on the rough spots then ONR wash the whole vehicle. We do the same for bugs with a water based product.

Neither chemical is designed for ONR washing but they both work well.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. I was planning on just making sure to do a few extra passes to try to fully clean the area. I`ll likely clay and polish after this anyway, so I would think the odds of leaving any residue are pretty slim.
