    Testing In Progress

I am doing a test between UPP Paint Protection and Klasse High Gloss Sealant.

    Here is what I did...

    -Wash and Clay Hood
-2 Rounds of 3M Machine Glaze (non-swirl filling) with Orbital Buffer.
-One Quarter of the Hood with Klasse AIO. Then 2nd Quarter of the Hood w/ Klasse AIO. Did it again. Then did 3rd Quarter of Hood. Then 4th Quarter of Hood. Did it again.
-Then applied Klasse High Gloss Sealant on Driver Side of hood
-Then I applied UPP Paint Protection to the passenger side.
-Removed Klasse and UPP after 30 mins.

The results so far are UPP is a lot easier to take off then Klasse. Klasse left a little residue. The shine is pretty much the exact same. Looks like Klasse hid or removed some a little more swirls better then UPP.

I will be seeing how they both hold up to a wash in about a week, swirl mark wise and smoothness. I will also look to see if the sesidue from the Klasse is gone.

    Here are some pics...

DRIVER SIDE (Klasse High Gloss Sealant)

    PASSENGER SIDE (UPP Paint Protection)

02Silverado that is a beautiful red.

CharlesW people drool over my 2003 S10`s paint. Nothing special, just a bronze/gold metallic but whoever was painting that day at GM was on top of his game.

Very little orange peel, metal flake is pure with no lines or borders and the clear looks half an inch deep.

GM has been impressing me lately with quality of paint and new car fit and finish.

I would assume that the UPP would be slicker in feel than SG? Did you notice that.

Surprising isn’t it!!! I think I made it shine better then it did new, seriously. But the victory red is a nice color. In some light it looks like it has some orange in it also. But I do miss black.

I tried to test out which one is smoother but my truck has been outside for a while and I have been driving it and the hood was VERY Hot so I couldn`t really test without buring my hand. But it does seem like UPP is a little slicker.
