Question New car detailing procedures (help)!

Hi: I am new to the site and things are a bit confusing to a novice like myself. We just bought a Hundai XG350 sedan and live in the houston, TX area. I would like a suggestion as to what might be a good cleaning/polishing/waxing regiment to follow for this car. It has a clearcoat paint job and is gold in color. We have had the car for a week and I want to protect the finish. I see that Poorboy products are "hot" here and I would be willing to try them (but which ones?).

All suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, Tony

Go have a look HERE . It`s a DC member`s page and it`s got a good regimen layout on it, plus some product suggestions.
I still don`t believe in grit guards.
