Again, I think it`s marketing buzz talking. Remember, it`s a wax manufacturer making these claims (and yes, I`m one, too, so take it with a grain of salt). Changing the color from yellow to white does not make the carnauba any better. I`m not sure what they`re removing by "refining it a second time". It sounds to me like they`re removing the color, which would be bleaching.
The carnauba manufacturers have graded it as #1, which is the purest grade possible. I don`t think there are any impurities left to remove, so it sounds to me like a marketing process, not a product improvement process. If it was #1 before, and #1 afterwards, the quality is the same. They`re only changed the color.
But, hey, rather than everyone get in an uproar about some minor point like this, just use the product YOU think is the best.
