    Mr. Clean cleaned me

A neighbor and I started out doing our cars at the same time. I did my wife`s wheels with Meg`s Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner. He started with Mr. Clean`s Carwash System or whatever it is called. After the wheels I washed the car with Bubblebath from TOP of the Line. By the time I was getting ready to wash my car he was in his house. I never went to check on his job as I was too busy doing mine. From a time standpoint that Mr. Clean is a definite time saver. How it cleans and what the car looks like(close up) after it dries I do not know. I put another coat of UPP on the car and did the windows with Poorboy`s ProPolish. I`m waiting for it to rain to see how the water reacts to the polished windows. All in all it took me about 3 1/2 hours to complete this routine I just explained. Him? About a 1/2 hour at the most. As for looks(from afar)? There is no comparison nor should there be.The silver metallic just shimmers in the bright sun. I have UPC+VM+4 coats of UPP. I`ve said this numerous times and I`ll continue to say it. UPP WROOOOCKSSSS ON SILVER! My neighbor has just Mr. Clean working for him. As for time, there`s no comparison. Mr. Clean is clearly the victor in this department.

It`s the gun rabbi - The mr. clean system sux becuase it leaves a residue on your car (thier dry rinse polymer).

But.. I have used the wash gun with 4* AW and it makes washing the car fast - becuase you don`t need 2 buckets and it holds the soap in the gun - but probably not worth the 30 bucks for the kit to get the gun - if I had a pressure washer I would be done in about half the time anyhooo

ive been very tempted to try this out, because my mom works at the docks, so her car gets dirty really fast. its sad to see, i do a 3 step polish with a coat for EX-P and nattys over that, and in two days its flat out filthy...... and to make it worse, her car is a SUV. so im curious, how well would this work.......

Sure, it`s shiny, but how smooth is it, and how does it look in direct sunlight?

The Oscar company had a car wash gun a few years back, as did a few other knock-off companies. Maybe there might be some at garage sales (if someone wanted to experiment). I would imagine they`d do about the same job (time-wise) as the Mr. Clean system.

Anybody remember the "Turbo Wash"? It was this black plastic contraption that had an extendable wand to create higher water pressure. You put the specially formulated soap into the reservoir and then used the wand to apply, soak, and then rinse. It was an interesting idea, but didn`t provide the highest quality results.

    How about the "Shawala" (sp?)!

The spinning felt brush that was guaranteed not to scratch your paint (no mentions of what the dirt etc. on the paint might do when pushed around like that)!
