I used B&B for the first time today on Tires and wheel wells.
I like Natural Look much better for tires.
The B&B was very watery. It ran everywhere. I applied it with a foam applicator and didn`t spray it on.
I will say a little goes along way though. This product will do many, many tires.
The natural look is thicker and applies smoother I thought. It also has less gloss (which I prefer).
The B&B worked good for the wheel wells though. I sprayed it on and it dried black and clean. Looked good.
Has anyone tried diluting B&B in a sprayer? That might be the ticket for wells and engines.

Of all the tire dressings I`ve tried (and there`s been a few) Natural look is still the best.

With the BnB, wipe it after applying. I did that do smooth it out and I got a very black tire, but almost no gloss.
I would imagine you could dilute it, as it`s water-based (IIRC).
I`m really liking the longevity of water based tire dressings (Not the durability of the shine-that disappears almost at the sight of rain or a puddle!). The tires I`ve used them on (I have 2 different brands of water-based dressing) have lasted a month without turning brown! Some of those foamong all-in-one sprays don`t even last the week!

If you apply BnB with a moist terry towel you will get less shine but the tires will still be black.
I have found that I can apply tire dressings just as uniformly by wiping either with EO Tire swipes or piecies of terry towel ... plus I don`t have to clean any overspray off the wheels or car if it is windy.

I use BnB full strength on tires and mixed with equal parts of water for wheel wells. For tires, I pour a thin line of product onto a foam paint brush and "paint" the tires. Foam tire swipes also work well. Buff with a cotton terry towel about 15 minutes after application to reduce the amount of gloss.

The foam paint brush works very well on RWLs. I have them on my Explorer, and the corners of the brush can reach inside and around the crevices.

BnB can also be used to clean the white letters if you agitate it with a scrub brush.

BnB has quickly become my favorite tire dressing. I apply it with the EO tire swipes. I use a local product to clean the tires, but really like BnB for the dressing. It holds up well to the weather and even the tire cleaner I buy. I`m not a fan of glossy tires, so BnB fits the bill nicely. Natural Look`s strength IMHO is on interiors. The matte finish really is more appropriate in interior vinyl and leather seating.

I couldn`t agree more. The B&B looks great on tires and has decent durability for a water-based dressing. I like NL on interiors. Guess that`s why PB makes them both.

(I really like NL though, interior and tires)

It is all about what you like the best! If you have found something you like, by all means, stick with it!
Fortunately we all can have our own opinions and there are products out there to achieve what each of us likes best.

I agree, and it`s fun to try different products and compare them.
I have 4 or 5 (or more) different tire dressings and I`m a weekend warrior.

Hey AWD.........I`ve been using the BnB full strength spraying it on wheel wells. Is there a reason, other than economics, that you dilute it?

On the tires I use a foam applicator from Viking....the large blue one with the foam grip/handle. Nice applicator. I use them for everything I use an applicator for these days.

I finally picked up my BnB from the 35% sale. I was astounded as to how far the stuff will go.

(convoluted post warning)

When using EO swipes, I measure how much product I use by number of "pumps" per tire. Starting at the right side of the swipe with the nozzle touching the swipe, I begin the pump and move the nozzle to the left side as I`m finishing the pump, maintaining contact with the swipe in a straight line. Make sense? Yeah, probably not. Anyway...

On average (per tire):

TOL Grape--5-6 pumps
NXT Protectant--3
AA--4
Hot Shine (non-aerosol)--3

Point is, once I primed the swipe with two lines of BnB, it only took one pump per tire and I *still* had to do a final wipe. Amazing how far this stuff will go. I haven`t had any problems with sling, but the car sat overnight before being driven on the interstate.

You are right about the watery nature. Try keeping the nozzle slightly depressed into your applicator. It acts like a much thicker dressing once on the swipe.
