    Trade secret over EX?

    Usually after i hand apply EX i let it sit for over and hour then buff off with a microfiber towell then i go straight to hand applying Trade secret and was wodnering if you guys recomend to let the Ex sit for 24 hrs before applying ts???? or can i go straight to ts

    Let the sealant bond to the paint for 24 hours, like all sealants then use TS. It will be very wet!

    I think you can go straight to the TS if you like. If we`re talking the original EX with carnauba it`s pretty much done doing whatever it needs to do once you`ve wiped it off.


    I bet TS over EX/Carnauba will look awesome...especially on a dark color. :headbang

    Do the EX and EX-P have different cure times? I have heard to let them cure for 24 hrs. It would be a timesaver if EX with carnauba doesn`t have the day cure time.
    I still don`t believe in grit guards.

    natty its actually on a white car oxford white.... i ran out of ex-p it still looks good of course it has more of a glowish look with the EX

    TS looks great over EX on medium or dark colors. However, on white, I don`t know if you are going to see much of a difference.................. try it, and let us know.

    As for the curing times, most manufacturers recommend waiting 24 hours before applying another coat of any wax or sealant. I think Steve would probably recommend the same. However, as Natty said, it probably won`t make that much of a difference................. and, if you`re like me............. sometimes you "can`t wait"!
