review: New Nanolex Wheel Cleaner and Iron Remover

so I received a sample of the New Nanolex Wheel Cleaner & Iron remover.

the test-object: the wheels of my Peugeot Company car.
I chose these ones because these are now 2 years old and have never been cleaned, maybe an occasional carwash before it was mine, but I doubt it, let alone a true iron remover.
These are the type of wheels I would most likely use an Iron remover on, or you will get when customers bring their car to you. you won`t be getting a well-looked-after or even seales wheel.

    First Claim:
Nanolex Wheel cleaner & iron remover reduces the need to agitate the surface
So I decided to test this claim by spraying a wheel with the product and let 1 side sit as it was, and the other side was agitated.

    To start with

sprayed on and immediatly taken a picture. as you can see, it starts to bleed very fast.

    half agitated

and rinsed down after 2 minutes:

As you can see it did an amazing job, with only 2 minutes dwell time, and the non-agitated side didn`t underperform.

    Claim: True

    Second claim:
    Nanolex is an iron remover
So I decided to test this to Carpro TRIX.
I was going to do an non-agitated test and an agitated test, but after the first test, the sprayer of the TRIX broke down...

    To start with:

Both sprayed on the wheel and let dwell for 2 minutes; No agitation

    rinsed down:

You can clearly see that TRIX was no match for the Nanolex. The nanolex product did a better job in removing iron without agitation

    Claim 2: True

So this was a test against an iron remover, but the new Nanolex product clearly stated that it is a wheel Cleaner and Iron remover. So I decided to test it to another product that is both of these: Wolf`s Chemicals De-Ironizer

    To start with:

sprayed on the wheel and agitated:

You can see that the Nanolex reacts quicker ( no surprise there), and that the Wolf`s turns brown-ish after agitation.

    Rinsed down after 2 minutes:

It was a close call, and it might be difficult to see, but the Nanolex did a better job then the Wolf`s here. mostly in the curves...

    Conclusion:

The new Nanolex Wheel Cleaner and Iron Remover did an amazing job and truely is both a Wheel Cleaner and a dedicated Iron Remover in one.
It also meets it`s claim that it reduces ( dare I say eliminates) the need to agitate the surface.

on a little side note, this probably wasn`t the real packaging and spray head, but the only correction I`d make is a spray head that gives a bit of a wider spray. This was just a little to direct, leading to a strong stream, making it harder to spray the whole wheel.

    c & c always welcome

Looks like it may be a fantastic product. Did you receive this as part of the tester program on the other forum that begins with autop?

Re: review: New Nanolex Wheel Cleaner and Iron Remover

i received it indeed as a tester on DW.
It is an amazing product. Now waiting on the price, if it will justify it. It does speed up the detailing prep work. I really pay attention to this, because Time is money

Jep, thats a zip lock these don`t hang on to the wheels very well, and if I loose one, i have to replace it with an original one and they cost £30 for 1 ... Get it
