    Nanolex Reactivating Shampoo

I was recently sent this sample from Nanolex ....Reactivating Shampoo to test and review.

Nanolex was founded in 2007 in Ommershiem Germany. Nanolex has quickly expanded its operations as a Worldwide Distributor of Professional Car Care Products.
Nanolex Reactivating Shampoo is designed to clean and protect your car in a single, easy step. While washing your car the advanced formula forms chemical and molecular bond with previously applied protective layers and refreshes them. Reactivating Shampoo also contains a high tech rinsing aid that will leave your car almost completely dry after thorough rinsing it with clean, fresh water.

I will be using a Pressure Washer and Foam Lance running 2800psi.....Vehicle being tested on is a 2014 Chevrolet Captivia

Here are some pictures of the Shampoo, It has a very, very unique smell to it, not over powering but a clean smell.

Here is a picture of the vehicle upon arrival ......

Using 1 1/2 ounces of the shampoo to my foam cannon bottle and no dilution ( added water to the bottle )....this is the results after spraying off the vehicle....

Allowing the shampoo to soak and penetrate for 5 to 10 minutes ...then spraying off the vehicle with pressure washer at 2500psi......This was the end RESULTS !!

I used 1 Drying Towel to dry the vehicle... Generally i go through 3 to 4 Drying Towels......Of course final pictures include dressed tires and Rims...process took about 45 Minutes to achieve.

Conclusion.......Fantastic Shampoo, Cleaning ability is superb, great lubricity and the DRYING AID sealed the deal.....I love this Shampoo.....

What LSP was on the paint? So just foaming the car and rinsing produced those results? Wow

Yeah but...that 8.5 oz bottle retails for $25.50, and you used 1.5 oz...that`s $4.50 worth of shampoo.

I`m not making any judgment on the value of that (which might be quite good when everything is taken into consideration), just pointing out that`s a lot more than most of us are used to spending for a wash. Sure, you could get the cost of 1.5 oz down to $1.86 if you were to buy a 5 liter jug of it...as long as you`re willing to pony up $210 for the jug.

Just to clarify--the question was whether the vehicle had any LSP on it BEFORE it was washed...not whether any was applied between the wash and the "after" picture.

Pardon my skepticism until we have a little more info and see if your reviews of free Nanolex product land you on the list of "Approved Detailers" at the Nanolex website. Apologies in advance if this turns out to be the product of the century.

    Re: Nanolex Reactivating Shampoo

What was on the car LSP wise prior to the wash asm when was it applied. The reason I am asking is the truck looks really good. If there was not a fresh cost of say, EXO it`s impressive. If there was a fresh coat (under a year) of EXO or some other quality coating, a pressure washer with no soap would clean up a not to dirty, fresh coating like EXO easily. Just trying to figure out what you were starting out with so I can properly used the product and results.

    Thanks

I tried this stuff out and did a review this summer and came to the conclusion that its a nice soap, just not worth the cost

My friend, I think he`s just looking for an answer, as I am I to my question.

I am trying to figure out if the Nanolex is a great no touch car wash, or did you have such a great LSP that everything washed off without touching it?

If you want to send me 1.5 oz to try on my dirty DD that has a coating, I will tell you if it works without touching?

Yeah...and if this shampoo made all that black trim on the car look freshly dressed, or if you dressed it as you did the tires (you mentioned you dressed the tires but not the trim). Because if a shampoo can make my trim go from that faded look in your before picture, to the freshly dressed look in your after pic, then it`s worth $4.50 a wash.
