Review - DP AIO Headlight Restoring Polish

In a recent order I picked up some of the New DP AIO Headlight Restoring Polish. Test subject is a Subaru with oxidized headlights and tail light.

    Products used:
    • Porter Cable 7424XP
    • LC-43-073DA Dual Action 3 Inch Flexible Backing Plate
    • DP AIO Headlight Restoring Polish
    • LC 3 1/4 Inch Thin Foamed Wool Pads
    • CarPro Eraser
    • Optimum Opti-Lens Permanent Headlight Coating

    Before - Front Right

    After - Front Right

    Before - Front Left

    During - Front Left

    After - Front Left

The DP Polish and Foamed Wool Pads did an amazing on the headlights. Very little polish was needed and the Foamed Wool Pads were cleaned after each section. Before the after pictures the lights were wiped with CarPro Eraser.

For the tail light I switched to the Griots 6" and a heavy cutting pad to see how well a foam pad would work.

    Products Used:

    • Griots Garage 6" Random Orbital Polisher
    • Meguiars 5" Backing Plate
    • 5 1/2" Buff and Shine Yellow Heavy Cutting Pad
    • DP AIO Headlight Restoring Polish
    • CarPro Eraser
    • Optimum Opti-Lens Permanent Headlight Coating

    50/50 - Tail light

    Conclusion:
The DP polish paired with the Foam Wool Pad or heavy cutting pad cut right through the oxidation and finished down great. All lights were sealed with Optimum Opti-Lens Permanent Headlight Coating for long protection.

That`s impressive considering there was no sanding involved. Looks like money in the bank to me

Yeah, no sanding just the Wool Foam Pad on the head lights.

Thanks! It makes head lights very very easy. It took longer to tape the head lights than to correct.

Wow this makes it look so easy and the results are great for a 1-step process.
