DP Coating Prep Polish and DP Glass Coating Review

Thanks for the review. I have been pleased with the G1/G2 in the past. Unfortunatley that cars was totaled in the Hurricane but for the months it was on i was happy.

I actually have some OPticoat Glass sitting in the shelf and was going to give that a whirl next.

Can you tell me how long you have had it on the car/Truck and if these vehicles sit outside. i am begining to think that the UV rays do as much damage to the glass coatings as the friction from the wipers. My garaged vehicles seems to have a much better experience with the same glass protection applied the same way.

Both of the tested cars sit outside 24/7 and are not garage kept. On my Dodge Ram I had Gtechniq and it did not hold up well at all. I wouldn`t be surprised if UV rays have something to do with the degrading of the coating.

Gtechniq was on about 2 months before I noticed a huge drop off..

I did see more time than that but I am looking for something better all the time. I own the optiglass so I will give that a whirl next.

How long has this DP been on the car?

I would love to find something that would give me 10-12 Months. Then all I wuld need to do it anual maintenace on the coatings and glass. I just got a good year out opf opticoat 2.0. I Iron x`d it and it good to continue.

I have had the DP Glass Coating on my cars since the product was released. I am very happy with how it`s performing. Much easier to use than Gtechniq as well.
