Todd, did you use the same speeds for cutting and finishing with all the products? If so, what speeds did you use?
Wow, this is a great thread! These are what help beginners such as myself to achieve results like the pros! Thanks!
I wouldn`t worry too much about this! Abrasives NEVER care what type of machine they are worked with! They are not intelligent and self-aware, instead they respond to FRICTION OVER TIME.
A DA polisher, because it has less FRICTION, will require more TIME to fully break down the abrasives. Maintain pressure and operate at a higher speed to achieve the same results by breaking down the abrasives.
Also keep in mind that people who primarily use a rotary polisher for results are going to get better results with a rotary; people who primarily use a DA polisher for results are going to get better results from a DA. They are two different machines.
Great work Todd! Ive never used Pro Polish II, but I just used some Pro Polish and I was really impressed with it`s ease of use. It just goes to show, there is likely to be a compromise when using any product in 1 step
Todd, any chance you are going to update the polish comparison chart with some of these new products?

Wow, Todd this is a great review. As an emerging enthusiasts I really enjoy comparisons like this and am looking forward to more in the future. It answers many of the questions I have when looking into new products and shows how different ones would suit different needs/styles as well as providing insight on how to match up the right product to different applications.
Awesome test, Todd! Well, Sonax Perfect finish is the most used polish in my arsenal since last summer, now you guys know why!
I have a very good contact with Sonax Sweden and it looks like I am going to Germany and visit the Sonax HQ and see the factory and some training as well.
Just getting around to reading the results
Very indepth comparison. Thanks for posting Todd
Kinda disappointed how my Menz PF stacked up. That is such a go to for me on the 1 step corrections
You got me thinking about the blackfire compound. A bit pricey though
curious how m205 stacks up in this discussion.... I smell a REMATCH!
