Wolf`s Chemicals Hard Body - Super Quick Review with Pics! WOW!!!

Wolf`s Chemicals Hard Body Nano Coating!

Hard Body is an advanced nano-particle paint sealant/coating that creates a hard, glass-like blanket of protection on your paint. This has been one of the highest reviewed paint coatings on the market, so I was excited to bring it into Autopia and EVEN MORE excited to try it out.

This weekend I spend over 30 hours preparing a Ferrari 288 GTO. I couldn`t wait to see the famous Rosso Corsa (race red) paint encased in two coats of Hard Body.

Since I will being doing a full write up I don`t want to share too many photos (yet). However I will let these two do the talking for now....

Note: Untouched photos (minus cropping and "auto contrast") from Nikon D3100

Polished & perfect red paint is always to die for. I`m sure the Hard Body made it pop even more.

Can`t wait to see the write up of this beauty.

Can anyone who uses(ed) HB comment:

    Is the product a sealant?
    A coating?
Or sort of a hybrid of the two?

It depends on your definition... A definition which is kind of murky...

Products like Wolf`s, CarPro CQuartz, Gtechniq and the like are considered semi-permanent coatings OR long-lasting sealants. Wolf`s uses glass-like, nano-sized particles (similar to the other products mentioned). They prefer to market it as a sealant that forms a coating, where as other companies simply say coating.

Optimum Opti-Coat is a coating in the sense that it forms a permanent barrier on the paint.

Looks really good! How hard was the Wolf`s to apply and remove? I have heard it can be a PITA to remove.

I think you heard wrong. Use a DA with a H20 pad and it just melts into the paint. Very little buffing and what little there is comes off like butter. Sorry Todd for jumping on your thread. Car looks awesome, can`t wait for your detailed write up.

The car looks good. And I must say I now really want to try Wolfs products...

Especially the new Nano Glaze, that goes under HardBody.

    I tried different application methods.

Microfiber towel by hand, per Jesse`s video. It worked flawlessly.

Microfiber (meguiar`s finishing) Disc- It was easy to over apply and it re-hazed in some spots, although not bad.

    Gray Finishing Pad- Extremely easy.
