    Mother`s Wheel Brush Review

If you don`t already have a wheel brush, you need to pick this one up. Works wonderfully and still looks exactly as good as it did originally after 6 months of pretty moderate use.

Here is my review on the Mother`s wheel brush:

BTW, I did do the wheel barrel later, the pictures are only for the face of the wheel.

Work cut out for the wheel brush on this pretty badly neglected Benz wheel:

One thing I love about the wheel brush is the ergonomic handle as well as the rubber sides that prevent scratching from occurring if you hit the brush against the wheel.

    Test subject:

    OPC dwelling on wheel:

About to go to town on brake dust:

    Looking much better:

Not the best, but decent at cleaning wheel lugs area in this method:

    Finished product:

    Pros:
    • Cheap
    • Easily rinsable
    • Durable
    • Safe

    Cons:
    • Size makes it slightly difficult to clean between spokes

    Conclusion:

The best bang for your buck wheel brush. Pick one up now, if you don`t already have it. Would recommend to anyone!

Do it! Both are great, and so is the tire brush! I would get the kit for all three and save in the process.

    Great review!

I really like the rubber on the outside of the brush too. I think my brush is about a year old and still going strong.

The rubber is definitely one of my favorite aspects about the brush

Thanks Dhaval, it`s my dad`s. Clearly, he isn`t a car guy. It`s the CLK 350 if I remember correctly, the convertible one.

I love to test products on his car because he never cleans them, goes through harsh TOUCH washes (swirls galore), and pretty much considers it a point A to point B mode of transportation.

Nice review. Are the bristles soft enough to prevent scratching?

I have not noticed any scratching and I made sure to look. I do super lubricate the wheels with wheel cleaner (in this case OPC) when I use it though just to be on the safer side.

In my research for this wheel brush, I found that the bristles are nylon, however so are the tire brush bristles. The difference is much like the "mature" boar`s hair vs the normal boar`s hair. The nylon on the wheel brush is quite soft, while the nylon on the tire brush is quite stiff.

The nylon on the wheel brush is also a different color as you reach the tips, which means to me, that the the tips are probably feathered or split in some way. The tips are more white, whereas most of the bristles are gray.
